Governor Wolf Proclaims November Adoption Awareness Month
Governor Wolf’s November 2021 Adoption Awareness Month proclamation encouraged “citizens across the commonwealth to recognize the importance of adoption and make every effort to ensure that all children in Pennsylvania have a safe, loving place to call home.”
The Governor celebrated the 2,050 children who were adopted in 2020 and honored the adoptive parents who answer the call to share a loving home and offer a better future for children in need. Governor Wolf recognized that, despite successes, there is still much permanency work to be done in Pennsylvania and across the country.
